The power to stop blood-thirsty ticks.

Lyme disease. Rocky Mountain spotted fever. Ehrlichiosis. They’re all carried by ticks, harmful to pets and a concern for humans. But when you provide Provecta Advanced, you can protect dogs from disease. It repels and kills ticks for up to four weeks, including the ticks that are vectors of those diseases: Deer ticks, American dog ticks, Brown dog ticks and Lone Star ticks.

The power to make fleas flee.

No one wants a flea-infested house. Provecta Advanced for Dogs repels and kills all life stages of fleas, which keeps them off of dogs and out of pet owners’ homes. It also reduces the incidence of Flea Allergic Dermatitis (FAD). With Provecta Advanced for Dogs, fleas do not have to bite to die.

The power to repel and kill mosquitos.

Mosquito-borne diseases—like the Zika virus—can affect you and your dog. Provecta Advanced for Dogs is one of the most effective mosquito treatments available today. It contains the same active ingredient found in K9 Advantix® II* and repels and kills mosquitos for up to one month, often before they have a chance to take a blood meal—and potentially spread disease.

Female mosquitos must feed on blood to reproduce.

Lifecycle of Mosquitos

The eggs of Aedes aegypti hatch within a few days up to several months when covered with water, developing into pupae in as few as five days. Once they hatch, they develop into flying, adult mosquitos within 72 hours. Female adult mosquitos then take 2-3 blood meals before laying their own eggs. Provecta Advanced for Dogs repels these mosquitos often before they take a blood meal. For the few mosquitos that do feed, Provecta Advanced for Dogs kills them before they have a chance to lay eggs.

Who needs Provecta Advanced?

Parasiticide protection begins with killing existing pests. Repellency is the follow up step. Stopping incidents before they happen is the best kind of care. After all, ticks may carry Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain spotted fever and Ehrlichiosis. Fleas can cause flea allergy dermatitis. And mosquitos may carry heartworms and the West Nile Virus. And while heartworm preventatives help most pets, the American Heartworm Society recommends using a repellant in addition to a preventative.

Provecta® II for Cats.

Maximum feline protection from fleas at a fraction of the cost.

Same active ingredients and same concentrations of Imidacloprid and insect growth regulator Pyriproxyfen as Advantage® II*

Once-a-month topical flea prevention and treatment

Kills fleas that may cause flea allergy dermatitis

Convenient, easy-to-apply formulation

Effectively breaks the flea life cycle.

Two-way flea protection kills adult fleas and flea eggs before they hatch. Fleas are present year-round, even in colder climates. And if you see one flea, there’s a good chance many more fleas, larvae and eggs are nearby.

Fleas can carry diseases, transmit tapeworms and cause flea allergy dermatitis—the most common allergic skin disease of cats. If an infestation is bad enough, it can even cause anemia, which can be fatal to kittens. That’s why you need Provecta II for Cats.

Same benefits. Better price.
